Dieffenbachia plants are highly prized for their beautiful, variegated foliage. The large, oval-shaped leaves come in a variety of patterns, typically a mix of green, white, cream, or yellow.
It thrives in bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate low light conditions, its growth will slow and the variegation may fade. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and cause them to yellow or brown.
Water your Dieffenbachia thoroughly, but allow the top inch or two of the soil to dry out before watering again. Overwatering is a common problem and can lead to root rot. Drooping leaves can be a sign of either over or under-watering, so it’s important to check the soil moisture.
