The most notable feature is its foliage, which is a very deep, rich, dark green that can appear almost black in certain lighting. The leaves are thick, glossy, and spoon-shaped, much like the standard Baby Rubber Plant.
Peperomia ‘Black Knight’ thrives in medium to bright, indirect light. While it can tolerate lower light, its foliage may lose some of its deep, dark color. Avoid direct, intense sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves. An east- or west-facing window is often ideal.
This plant has succulent-like leaves that store water, making it fairly drought-tolerant. The most common mistake is overwatering. Allow the top two inches of soil to dry out completely before watering again. When you do water, do so thoroughly, allowing excess water to drain out of the pot.
