Yellow Leaves Most often overwatering or poor drainage. Reduce watering frequency; ensure soil dries out between drinks.

Curling/Wrinkled Leaves Underwatering or low humidity. Check soil moisture and water thoroughly; increase ambient humidity.

Brown/Crispy Tips Low humidity or inconsistent watering. Increase humidity with a pebble tray or humidifier.
Leaves Not Splitting Plant is either too young or not receiving enough bright, indirect light to mature properly. Move to a brighter spot and ensure the plant has a pole to climb..

Bright, Indirect Light is Best: This plant thrives in bright, filtered light, which mimics its natural environment growing under a tree canopy. An east-facing window is often perfect, or a south/west-facing window set back from the glass.

Avoid: Direct, harsh afternoon sun will scorch and burn the delicate leaves, causing brown spots.

Too Little Light: Will result in slower growth and leggy vines, where the leaves are small and far apart.

Water when the top 1 to 2 inches of soil are dry to the touch. This usually translates to about once a week in the summer and less frequently in the winter.

The biggest mistake is overwatering. Yellowing leaves are the most common sign of overwatering and potential root rot. The pot must have drainage holes. Never let the plant sit in standing water.
